A kiss before dying. There isn’t a subtitle or a motto. The book was published in 1953. You can explain the title as he didn’t kiss his victims before they died, but in stead of the kiss you can say he loved them before they died. It is a thriller.

Main characters
Dorothy Kingship, Ellen Kingship and Marion Kingship that are three sisters.
Dorothy has blond hair and brown eyes and she is very naive, she believes almost everything what bud said. Ellen has brown hair, brown eyes and she doesn’t trust anybody very quick. Marion has brown hair, brown eyes, she is very shy and spend a lot of time with her dad.
Bud Corlis , he has blond hair and blue eyes. He is 24 years old and he is found of money. He also doesn’t like it when somebody ruined his plans.
Dwight Powel, he was Dorothy’s boyfriend before Bud became her boyfriend, he is very kind. He helps Ellen with the research about Dorothy’s suicide.
Gordan Gant he helps Ellen and warn Leo Kingship for Bud.
Leo Kingship, he is the father of Dorothy, Ellen and Marion.

Story
The story is about a young man Bud, he get a relationship with Dorothy. He wants to marry her, because she has a very rich father. Then Dorothy gets pregnant. Bud doesn’t like it at all and thinks about some plans to abort the pregnancy. He gave her pills and told her to takes the pills, and when they don’t work then he promised that he would marry her. The pills didn’t work and she walked trough the class the next morning. He had Dorothy write a suicide note ( In fact he let her write a Spanish translation) He sent the note to her sister Ellen.
